Lessons To Learn From Gregory Fishman

Gregory Fishman, the president, and chief executive officer of Resolvly, started his career at the age of 19. He was first employed at a chemical manufacturing company as the national director of sales. Gregory was later promoted one year after working at National Interchem to become its vice president. He worked at the company for close to three decades, and he spent his final eight years at National Interchem as its president after buying it from Art Saltz who was the original owner. About Resolvly

Resolvly is a firm that focuses on the human element of debt resolution. The company is leading in the sector because it treats its customers with respect even when they have been overwhelmed by debts, and they are facing the hardest moments of their lives. Resolvly helps people personally and supports people who reach out for assistance. The company deals with an array of issues such as private student loans and unsecured debts.

The birth of Resolvly

Gregory established Resolvly in 2014 in Boca Raton, Florida after obtaining his Series 7 license and working with GHS Solutions. Gregory Fishman is quick to point out that the idea of establishing Resolvly originated from his observations of several bad things taking place in the debt relief sector. Gregory notes that he has seen several people suffer because their money went to the wrong places and others getting abused by those who think that they understand what they are doing. As such, Fishman wanted to venture into a company that could offer people trusted financial help on issues concerning debt resolution. Gregory also notes that even if Resolvly has been operating for four years, he still had the idea of starting the company over five years before its inception. When venturing into Resolvly, Fishman wanted to create a company that goes beyond alleviating only debts, but also the emotions of fear that debt causes.

His typical day

When asked about his day and how he makes sure that he remains productive, Gregory notes that he wakes up at 5 a.m. every day. He then listens to the news while taking coffee. Fishman also reveals that he does a lot of meditation before going to the gym. Gregory then goes back to freshen up and check on his mail before heading to the office. Fishman stops at the bakery every morning in his way to work for coffee and morning goodies for his employees. Upon arriving at the office, Gregory holds a staff meeting to discuss their day, exciting things that they want to create, upcoming events, their plans for the day. Gregory goes through new topics that may arise during the meeting with his staff as well as payables and receivables.

One of the habits that make Gregory productive and contribute to the success of Resolvly is checking the accounts daily to make sure that all transactions are correctly recorded. However, Gregory is quick to note that his weekends are equally packed. He rarely sleeps over the weekends. Fishman still goes to the gym and takes a walk with his dog even during the weekends. Gregory Fishman and his girlfriend volunteer their free time to assist people struggling with addiction.

Bringing ideas to life

Gregory notes that most of his ideas come to him while at the gym or in the middle of the night. When he gets new ideas, Fishman shares them with his staff at a meeting. He shares his insights with all the stakeholders of the project so that they can also contribute to growing the idea into a tangible thing. Gregory easily organizes his thoughts at the ocean and the gym, which makes him more productive than before.
