My favorite sites right now are Digg.com and Technorati, because between the two I can find 1) weblog posts on any topic, and 2) the most popular tech industry information at any given time. Combined they form a one-two information punch that can answer basically any question I might have, it’s just fantastic. Some people are wondering about the financial prospects for Digg, so here’s my take.

Extratasty Launches
Our friends over at Skinnycorp have done it again — their newest web project is Extratasty.com, a “web 2.0”-style drink recipe site. Store your recipes, find new ones, tag ’em, comment, rate ’em, drink ’em all up.
My first added recipe is my favorite margarita mix of all time. I named it The Cadillac of Margaritas in honor of a type of margarita I once had down in Austin, TX. Enjoy!
9rules Ad Network Buzz
It’s only been a few days since we launched 9rules Communities, and already people are singing the praises of it, which is totally flattering. The only opinions that truly matter to us are our members’, and they have been giving it the thumbs up all week (and for the past month since when we first spoke to them about the idea.) I’m really stoked that our members and readers like what we’ve come out with, and I’m even more excited to see what they think of everything we’re working on now, to come out in a few weeks. Anyway, enough of the preliminary stuff. On to the rumor mill 🙂
Introducing A Few More Rules: 9rules Communities and 9rules Featured Blogs
When Paul first pitched me his 9rules idea last March while down in Tampa, I think today was the day that he envisioned. We originally had no homepage, then a homepage with just links, then a homepage with just a big list of sites, then a homepage with sites grouped by tags, and now today we release the current iteration of our website which tacks on two brand new sections called 9rules Communities and 9rules Featured and few thousand pages of content updated daily. So what’s the deal? Read on.

Flock Scraps It All, Starting Over
Normally when you read a blog entry title like “Flock Scraps It All” you’d think it was just troll bait or a joke, but I don’t think it is this time. I just got done reading “…Wanted to Destroy Something Beautiful” by Flocker Chris Messina, and I get the impression that the team is throwing their Flock browser into the scrap pile and starting something brand new. Let’s hope their investors were consulted first 😉
Chris’ entry is pretty nebulous, so what do you guys think it means?
